The Benefits of El Sauna
A wood-fire sauna can be the perfect place to find a variety of benefits for your body and mind.
The effects of heat can improve your circulation, soothe aches/pains in both muscles and joints, and the use of a sauna can speed up the body’s natural healing processes and release endorphins which can minimise pain. After physical activity, it promotes muscle relaxation and the elimination of lactic acid and other toxins that may be present.
The regular use of a Sauna has been shown to improve brain health, help us to relax, and regulates the level of cortisol (stress hormone) in our blood, and stimulate the production of serotonin, which is the ‘feel good’ hormone. As well as improve your sleep quality. There are studies that show that it can reduce the risk of Alzheimer's and dementia. And not to mention also helps to burn calories and cleanse the skin due to increased body temperature and sweating.

What to know before your session
To gain the most of the benefits of the sauna, spend 10 – 15 minutes in the sauna and then immerse yourself in the cold sea, a cold shower, or lower your body temperature in the open air and then return to the sauna.
Perform this routine for the 60 minutes of your session.
It is recommended to wear swimsuits or light clothing made of natural fibers that allow the body to sweat naturally.
It is recommended to use a sauna hat, which helps to better resist the heat of the sauna by protecting the head, which is the first thing that heats up in our body. You can also use a towel that covers the head.
It is mandatory to bring 2 clean towels, one to sit on and the other to dry the body after the session.
Bring a good amount of water to drink before, between, and after the session.
